We need a community event to have fun at! The UPRD has lots of ideas on events to hold for the community! The only thing that we are lacking is time and energy to plan and follow through with such events. We have been so focused on completing capital improvement projects. Have you noticed the new gym paint job? Insulation? New lights throughout the building? Meeting room improvements? French drain and gutters? Walking trail? YES VERY BUSY!!

So, we are seeking community members who would be interested in planning events for our neighbors to enjoy. This would be a great time to get to know some neighbors and show how Underwood is such a special place. Some ideas the board has are:

– Spring Fling – music, dancing, socializing event

– Cribbage game night

– paint night

– Board game night

– Bingo night

– Monthly Potluck dinner event

– and whatever new ideas you might have!!

The Community Center and UPRD is purely run on volunteers. If you haven’t found a way that you can contribute to the community, maybe this is your calling! If you are interested in getting creative and helping plan events please email aliciauprd@gmail.com. It would be great to come up with 4-5 volunteers who would like to take on this task.
