SUMMARY:Community Open Gym
DESCRIPTION:Looking for a way to help your kids get the wiggles out as the weather changes? The Underwood Gym is open on Tuesday afternoons from 3:30 – 5:30 pm this fall and winter!  \nOpen Gym will make the Community Center available to individuals and families for shooting hoops\, playing cards\, and organizing family-friendly games (like dodgeball\, four-square\, pickleball\, etc.) This is a free\, drop-in community event and there is no formal programming planned. Some sports equipment will be provided\, but families should feel free to bring their own ideas for fun!  \nCurrently\, one local family has volunteered to host these weekly open gym sessions. However\, the goal is to have a rotating group of individuals and/or families willing to lend a hand to help keep this resource available for our neighborhood in the future. SUMMARY:Community Pickleball
DESCRIPTION:Pickleball enthusiasts\, unite! \nThis winter\, local pickleball enthusiast\, Ryan Murtfeldt\, will be opening the Community Center on Tuesday nights from 6:45 – 7:45 pm for open play pickleball games. These games are open to all ages and skill levels. There is no fee to play; just bring your own paddle and balls if you have them. The UPRD has a few to loan\, but availability is limited. \nCommunity Pickleball games will take place through the winter months\, with the possibility of extending into Summer\, if there is sufficient community interest.
