DESCRIPTION:Friends of Underwood is a dedicated 501(c)(3) organization that supports the Underwood Park and Recreation District (UPRD) by organizing community events and fundraising activities for Underwood\, Washington. Our mission is to bring people together through initiatives that celebrate the spirit of our community. Through our work\, we help ensure that Underwood remains a vibrant and engaging place for all. \nIf you’d like to join us in this mission\, we’d love to see you at our monthly meeting! Meetings take place on the first Wednesday of every month at 6:30 pm at the Community Center. We’re always looking for volunteers. SUMMARY:Play Structure Dedication and Ice Cream Social
DESCRIPTION:Thanks to the many volunteers\, our new Underwood Park play structures are in place. Due to fundraising efforts by the Friends of Underwood\, a non-profit\, and local builder\, Nathan Ziegler and his team\, the play structures are now ready to welcome happy children. Join us Sunday\, July 26th\, at 1 pm for the formal dedication. \nFollowing the dedication\, Friends of Underwood will be serving ice cream sundaes and root beer floats. \nRead all about the journey from turning the play structure dream to reality here. \nThis event is free to all Underwood residents. \nRSVP : ucc.robin at gmail.com \n
