DESCRIPTION:RootStock Festival is a brand new 3-day event celebrating gardening\, homesteading\, and the art of sustainable living in the Columbia River Gorge! Taking place at Daubenspeck Park in Bingen\, Washington\, this festival will feature homesteading workshops\, demonstrations\, local food\, art\, live music\, and a beer garden. Fun for the whole family! \nExtra Bonus?  In its inaugural year\, RootStock has teamed up with Friends of Underwood to staff the beer garden all weekend long\, which means proceeds from all beer sales will benefit The Playground Project!  Guests can purchase VIP day or weekend passes to the beer garden. Beer garden hours are:  \n\nFriday from 4-11 pm\nSaturday from 1-11 pm\nSunday from Noon to 4 pm\n\nCome raise your glass to a good cause and enjoy all the other weekend offerings!\n\n\n   Gardening – Learn about soil health\, seed saving\, composting + grab your favorite plants & tools.\n   Beekeeping & Pollinators – Hive demos\, pollinator gardens & sweet local honey tastings.\n   Homesteading – Shop handmade goods and learn about food preservation and soap-making.\n   Farm Animals – Meet animals\, hear from local farmers & explore raising your own chickens or goats.\n   Flowers & Herbalism – Forage\, craft wild herbal teas and remedies\, make floral wreaths.\n   Local Bites – Farm-to-table eats made with love.\n   Kids’ Activities – Seed planting\, birdhouse building\, petting zoo\, and nature storytime!\n   Plus\, Live Music! \n \n
