Along with our monthly board meeting we will be hosting a Road Safety Meeting this Wednesday July 14 at the Community Center from 6-8. Please come and hear\/share you concerns regarding the increased road speed and decreased visability on Cook Underwood Road.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Some road safety concerns are:<\/div>\n
– more speed limit signs on main road and side roads<\/div>\n
– perhaps 35 mph signs around couple of corners<\/div>\n
– caution- blind pull-out signs before Kollack\/Knapp, Hawkins Winery and Cooper Avenue<\/div>\n
– more frequent speed observation by county officers<\/div>\n
– perhaps mirrors on a couple of curves<\/div>\n
– perhaps speed signs visible as leaving wineries so that tourist are<\/div>\n
reminded<\/div>\n
– increase of guardrails on top at west end of Underwood<\/div>\n
– what are the guidelines as to when to decide to gravel during icy<\/div>\n
weather?<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
