Planning Commission\u2019s (PC) recommendation for the Underwood Unmapped Lands at its meeting on <\/span><b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.skamaniacounty.org\/Home\/Components\/Calendar\/Event\/1683\/165\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tuesday, December 9, 2025<\/a><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Per the PC&#8217;s recommendation, one unmapped parcel owned by Broughton Lumber and one owned by the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) <\/span><b>will be zoned Residential 10 (R-10)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><i>Want to catch up on this issue? A community petition is now circulating in <i>opposition<\/i> to residential zoning of the unmapped lands.
