Underwood’s Own – Saying Goodbye to Thomasina Campbell<\/strong><\/p>\n

We\u2019re saying goodbye to our grandmother\u2014Thomasina Campbell, a woman who did things her way and never once asked for permission.<\/p>\n

She was sharp, resilient, and about as strong-willed as they come. A proud Republican who stood her ground, spoke her mind, and could probably win an argument before you even realized you were in one.<\/p>\n

She loved her family fiercely and built a legacy that speaks for itself. She is survived by her 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, all of us lucky enough to have been raised (and occasionally set straight) by a true Southern spitfire.<\/p>\n

She outlived all three of her children, which says a lot about her strength\u2014and maybe a little about her stubbornness too.<\/p>\n

If you knew her, you know she wouldn\u2019t want a bunch of long faces. She\u2019d want us to keep going, stand up for what matters, and maybe have the last word while we\u2019re at it.<\/p>\n

She\u2019ll be missed, but her spirit?
\nThat\u2019s not going anywhere.<\/p>\n
