Event Recap: Community Play Structure Dedication and Ice Cream Social
We had a fantastic turnout at the Ice Cream Social on Sunday, July 26—thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate together!
It was so special to see families, friends, and neighbors gathering, kids playing, and our community enjoying such a meaningful moment side by side. The event included a heartfelt dedication led by UPRD Chair Bob Wittenburg, followed by a ceremonial ribbon cutting by a local child to officially open El Nido – Ziegler Family Playground.
After the ceremony, everyone came together to enjoy an ice cream social—sharing treats, conversation, and plenty of smiles as the playground filled with laughter and energy. This space was built for our community, and seeing it come to life was the perfect way to celebrate its opening.
