About Friends of Underwood (FOU)
Established in February 2024, Friends of Underwood (FOU) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. It is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and operates under the bylaws established by the FOU board. The organization serves as the fundraising arm for projects and initiatives of the UPRD and acts as a liaison between the community and the UPRD, promoting communications and volunteer engagement.

Current Fundraising Goal
We did it! Thanks to the generous support of community members like you, we have met our fundraising goal for The Playground Project and work to install new structures is scheduled to begin in Spring 2026.

A very special thank you to one generous local family who offered to match the funding that FOU raised for the Playground Project, enabling FOU to move forward with the purchase of our new structures.
Support the Project
Although we reached our initial fundraising goal, unexpected expenses often arise along the way. FOU is still accepting donations for this and other FOU community projects in the coming year. Donations are tax-deductible. Every dollar makes a difference.
