A Resource for the Community

Some of our facilities are open and available to the public at all times. Others are available for private use, but only per reservation and rental. If you are an individual, business, community organizer or local nonprofit looking for space for an upcoming event, we encourage you to look over our facilities available below, then review our rental rates and availability calendar and contact us by email to discuss which option(s) will best meet your needs. We look forward to hosting you in Underwood!

Once you have reviewed our rental rates and checked to make sure your preferred date is available, you’ll need to complete and submit a reservation request. As soon as our facilities manager gets this request, they will reach out to confirm the details of your reservation. 

Community Center


Looking for the perfect place for private parties, weddings, retreats, workshops, art shows, yoga, swap meet, lectures or community events? The Community Center might be a great fit! The space features a gym, meeting room, kitchen, stage, parking and more. The facility is also handicapped accessible.

Gymnasium

The gymnasium can accommodate large gatherings, workout classes, sports groups and more. The stage is set for local music or theatre performances. Antique wood floors, high ceilings, and lots of natural light make this space inviting, while sound baffling helps keep noise levels at a reasonable level.

Meeting Room

Need a place to hold an important meeting or small event? The Underwood Community Center Meeting Room is perfect for small Meetings, Retreats, Classes, Workshops, Lectures, Seminars, Presentations, and more. Table, chairs, and attached kitchen provided. 60 people maximum.

Picnic Pavilion

Our picnic pavilion is the ideal place to host an outdoor gathering. Featuring a cement floor, sturdy picnic tables and large stone barbecue, the sheltered pavilion area protects guests from rain or sun. The playground, swings, and sports fields are only a few steps away. Don’t forget the frisbee!

Playground

Fun for the kids and adults.  Swings, slides and make-believe forts are there to capture the imagination of the entire family.  An adjacent basketball court is available for more family fun.  The playground is included in all rentals, but cannot be reserved.  It is open free of charge to the public.

The Park


Our park area sits between the picnic pavilion, the community gardens, and the playground, and is great for mid-sized all age gatherings. It includes a covered gazebo that is great for small, intimate ceremonies and a  memorial bench that is perfect for enjoying an peaceful afternoon in the shade.

Sports Fields

Whether you’re looking to organize a pick-up game of basketball, a kickball tournament for adults, or an evening soccer session for kids, our full-sized sports fields are available for neighborhood and club events.

Horse Arena

The horse arena is fully fenced and is available for animal related events. Equestrian training and competition and judging events are just a few possible uses for the arena and surrounding grassy areas.

The Post Office


Our Post Office in Underwood is not only a place where mail is collected and delivered — it’s also a place where neighbors get to exchange friendly hellos. Buy stamps, send packages, rent a post office box, and more.
