Keith Fredrickson
Vice PresidentKeith Fredrickson
After retirement in 2008, Keith built a house on his property in Underwood that he had purchased in 1996. He and his wife moved into that house in 2009. Keith joined the Underwood Community Council in 2011, later becoming the President. He spent six or so years as President, and he still treasures that experience of meeting and working with residents of Underwood. The accomplishment that he is most proud of is helping the residents of Underwood save the present Park and Community Center from being sold by the Skamania County Commissioners into private ownership. Many hours and much hard work went into establishing the Skamania County Park and Recreation District and to passing a tax levy to fund it. Presently, he serves on the board of Friends of Underwood as Vice President in charge of leftover Ice Cream.
