The Underwood Post Office building is owned and maintained by the UPRD. Situated adjacent to the Community Center on Schoolhouse Road in Underwood, over the past few years, the UPRD has made a number of building updates and improvements including a fix for some plumbing issues, repairing a leaky roof, replacing the heating/AC unit, and repairing interior dry rot. The USPS has been in our building at the Park since May 1996 — and we look forward to having them here for many more years to come! 

If you’ve ever stopped into the Post Office during service hours, you’ve likely met Maria, our friendly local Postmaster who has been at the Underwood Post Office since 2020. She and her team work hard to make sure Underwood mail and packages get delivered year-round to residents. Please thank your postal delivery team often!

SPECIAL NOTE: Please keep your dogs leashed and away from postal delivery locations at home. If a carrier feels threatened by a dog, or if a dog is loose or unleashed, the owner may be asked to pick up mail at the Post Office until the carrier is assured the pet has been restrained. If a dog is roaming the neighborhood, the pet owner’s neighbors also may be asked to pick up their mail at the Post Office.
